Testing the PlayStation PS2 Receiver Adaptor with 4 DC Motors and 8 PWM Servo Controls
In the world of DIY robotics and automation, the integration of gaming controllers with hardware components offers an exciting way to control your projects. The PlayStation PS2 Receiver Adaptor is a popular choice for those looking to control multiple motors and servos using a PlayStation 2 controller. In this blog, we’ll walk you through the process of testing a setup that involves the PS2 Receiver Adaptor, 4 DC motors, and 8 PWM servo controls. By the end of this guide, you’ll have a solid understanding of how to get your components working together seamlessly.

Product description
The driver uses a combination of PCA9685 and TB6612 chips, which is very stable and highly scalable. The Arduino control board and driver board communicate through IIC , so no data pins are occupied, which can provide players with greater expansion capabilities.
The driver board cannot be used alone and needs to be used with the Arduino uno development board.
Specially designed slot for PS2 controller to easily achieve wireless remote control
Full support for graphical programming (Mixly, mBlock3)
Product Features
1. Provides a dedicated PS2 wireless controller interface, and can be fully plugged into the arduino uno, mega2560 development board
2. Through I2C and arduino communication, cascade can be superimposed
3. Can be connected to 6 servos, 2 of which are directly controlled by Arduino and the other 4 are driven by PWM driver.
4. Can be connected to 4 DC brush motors or 2 4 – wire stepper motors.
