The 45GX-775 is a 12V planetary gear motor with a 45mm diameter and an output speed of 500RPM. This motor is designed for applications requiring high torque and low speed, making it suitable for robotics, automated systems, and other precision machinery. The planetary gear system ensures efficient power transmission and durability.
By itself, a DC motor can’t be controlled like a servo motor or a stepper motor. But add an encoder, and you unlock the full potential of the DC motor. Using this approach, you can harness the simplicity, even torque, and lightweight profile of a DC motor for your controlled application.
