Description

This V6 Bowden Cooling Tower is a unique design that caters to both 1.75mm and 3mm filament Bowden-style extruders and Hotend Assemblies and is a vital part of the cold end meant to keep filament cool before it reaches the hotend. This pre-emptively prevents blockages, leaks and oozing before it happens by ensuring that the temperature of the filament is well-controlled from the spool to heatbed.

The top of this cooling tower features M10 thread to connect to a standard Bowden Connector, while it has machined thread on the bottom side to fit directly onto the  V6 Heat Break. In the middle, space is reserved for the 30mm Fan Shroud, which blows air onto the radiator to cool the filament within, so that the filament doesn’t melt before it reaches the heating zone in the hotend.

This cooling tower is built to work with Bowden drive 3D printers like the Prusa i3, i3 Mega and Creality CR-10, and universally caters to both 3mm and 1.75mm setups. Alternatively, if you are looking for cooling towers for the Direct Drive systems, consider taking a look through our Cooling Towers Page to find the exact radiator you need for your machine

This cooling tower is unique in how it can fit both 1.75mm and 3mm setups, but just remember that for 1.75mm systems, you will have to insert the Bowden tube all the way down to the heatbreak within the cooling tower.
