Description

The 4S 14.8V 20A Lithium battery Protection Board comes with over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and short circuit protection, for a variety of various shapes 3.7V lithium-Ion batteries. HXYP-4S-BMD1 is a Small size square shape board under which four 18650 cells can be packed suitable for many requirements of high integration, low cost of the occasion, to meet a wide range of performance requirements to ensure that the battery pack is absolutely safe and reliable. This BMS (Battery Management System) – a battery management system that is designed to monitor the status of batteries, control the battery charge/discharge process, etc.  Four 18650 batteries can be connected simultaneously to the HX-4S-BMD1 module.

The features of this charge controller are protection against short circuit (short circuit) and protection against over-discharge (overcharge). Also, a feature of the module is to turn off the power supply for the batteries when the maximum capacity of at least one battery is reached. The maximum operating current of this BMS controller is 20 A, and the quiescent current reaches up to 10 μA. The battery charge is switched off when the voltage reaches 4.25 – 4.35 V, and the discharge when the voltage drops to 2.3 – 3.0 V. If the maximum permissible value of the supply voltage is exceeded, the charge controller activates the “protection” mode. In order to restore the module, it is necessary to re-apply voltage to the input of the BMS board or wait a while until the charge controller automatically disables protection.
